Blue Ray and DVD technology are going in different directions with the latter being shunted to the verge of extinction because of the superior storage as well as audio visual capability of the Blue Ray disc and the ones that are most threatened by the Blue Ray disc are movie hall owners who fear that the superior Blue Ray disc will soon make people prefer watching their movies at home and so will forget about going to a movie hall to get top class cinematic entertainment.
And, it is this very fact that points to the fact that the future of Blue Ray disc technology looks very promising though the movie hall theaters are not finding this amusing.
